What is a Wholefood?
"Wholefood" is a term used to describe food that is in its whole state, as it is grown. Wholefoods are foods that are still in their natural state, where nothing is lost and nothing is added. Wholefoods are unrefined, unprocessed and retain as many nutrients as possible. Examples of whole foods include unprocessed grains; organically grown fruits and vegetables; unhomogenised milks and yoghurts.
