Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Classic delicious cookies!

  • 150 g Organic Butter
  • 1 c Organic Castor Sugar
  • 1 Organic Free Range Egg, Lightly Beaten
  • 1 1⁄4 c Organic Self Raising Flour
  • 1 c Organic Chocolate Chips*
  • 1⁄2 c Crushed Walnuts

Preheat oven to 170°C. Grease and line a biscuit tray.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well.
Add flour, choc chips and cuts and combine well.
Place heaped teaspoons of the mixture on trays, leaving some room for spreading.
Bake at 170°C for 10 minutes. Let cookies sit for 5 minutes on tray then place on wire rack to cool completely.

*If I don’t have chocolate chips in the pantry, I substitute with chopped up cooking chocolate – just make sure the pieces are small enough or the cookies will fall apart.
