Chocolate Banana Smoothie

This is a delicious smoothie made with super healthy raw cocoa. You can use whatever milk you like, and there are lots of optional extras for you to throw in if you feel like it, for added protein, nutrition or flavour. (Now available at Ripe Albert Park!)
- 2 T raw cocoa powder*
- 2 1⁄2 organic frozen bananas
- 1 T organic honey or agave syrup
- 2 T organic full cream yoghurt
- 600 ml organic milk (or soy, rice, almond or oat milk)
Place all ingredients into blender, adding the honey last to stop it sticking to the sides. Blend until smooth and creamy, pour into large glass and enjoy!
*mix the cocoa powder with a little of the milk or yoghurt first to smooth out any lumps.
Here are some ideas to play with, optional extras you might like to throw in...
1 Tablespoon organic peanut butter
1 teaspoon organic coconut oil
flax seed oil
2 medjool dates, soaked overnight in water.
A pinch of cinnamon, or nutmeg.
Raw almonds, hazelnuts or cashews, soaked for a few hours in water.
